Automator 6.4 : Publicités Facebook, Bluesky et puissantes améliorations de l'apprentissage en ligne

The Uncanny Automator 2.8 release had 6 new integrations, so it only made sense that the associated Pro 2.8 release would have a huge number of triggers and actions—and it does. Today’s Pro release adds over 35 new triggers and actions. That’s not a mistake, this release adds a huge number of new recipe possibilities.
Let’s jump right in to what’s new.
BuddyBoss was one of the more popular integrations in the free 2.8 release and we know those users will be excited to see just how much has been added in Pro. Many of the BuddyPress triggers and actions are similar, so here’s the combined list:
Yes, it’s a pretty huge list. And here’s a sample of what things look like now on the Automator side:
The Uncanny Automator Pro 2.8 release takes the preliminary support for Elementor forms in the free release to the next level. Now logged in users can trigger recipes when forms contain a specific value in a specific form field, but of course Pro also adds support for anonymous triggers:
This means Elementor forms can now be used to register new users (without any extra plugins) and trigger any type of recipes.
The new Pro triggers for Happy Forms what we added for Elementor forms above. As far as we know, this makes Uncanny Automator the only option available for using Happy Forms to register new WordPress users. That’s pretty exciting and really opens up a lot of opportunities for Happy Forms users.
We’re up to 5 integrations with new features now and we’re not even halfway through the list! Here’s what’s new for GiveWP:
These additions make a new of new user cases possible, including recipes like the following:
We now support resetting course progress as an action for Tutor LMS users. This one is super useful for sites with recurring training, like compliance courses. When a user buys a course product in WooCommerce, reset their existing progress for a course so they can take it again. When a user fails a final quiz, reset the user’s progress for the entire course so they have to tag it again. (That one is a bit cruel, but certainly some sites need that type of functionality.)
The new WishList Member additions probably aren’t a surprise, but here’s what’s new:
The last one is perhaps the most interesting. When a user’s BuddyPress member type is set to an Alumni member type, remove the user from the Student membership level in WLM. Or maybe when a user cancels a recurring donation in Give, remove the user from the Donor membership level in WLM. How’s that for some interesting recipe ideas using only triggers and actions added in Automator Pro 2.8?
Our Mailpoet integration gets 2 more actions in Pro 2.8:
So if a user stops recurring donations, or a tag is removed from a CRM, or maybe the user simply clicks the Automator magic button, now they can be removed from a Mailpoet list.
As was likely expected, the new Integromat integration adds support for receiving data from an Integromat webhook. This anonymous trigger works the same way as similar integrations for Zapier and webhooks that we support.
And that brings us to our final integration with big changes in Uncanny Automator Pro 2.8, and for developers this one may be the most interesting:
Let’s jump right to the list of what’s new for WordPress core:
Note that for the comment triggers, manual comment approval must be enabled (in other words, someone must actually approve the comment manually to trigger the recipe). These ones are interesting in that the trigger can be any post, any post of a specific post type. Just want to fire recipes when students post comments on course lessons and topics? No problem.
Another important note for the post triggers is that the actions run on the author of the post (where a user is involved). So, perhaps when an admin publishes an author’s blog post, the post details are added to a sitewide BuddyBoss activity stream and attributed to the author, or maybe the author is promoted to a “Published Author” level in MemberPress. For sites that want to rely on user-generated content and want to automate workflows around that, these new triggers should make things a lot easier.
And that wraps up the Uncanny Automator Pro 2.8 release. Have fun with your new recipes!
