Uncanny Automator 6.4 introduit les publicités Facebook Lead, Bluesky et des tonnes de nouveaux déclencheurs puissants et…
We’re excited to introduce 2 new integrations to the free version of Uncanny Automator: myCred and wpForo.
myCred is a popular point management, gamification and rewards plugin for WordPress. With an install base of over 20,000 sites and a 4.6 average rating on WordPress.org, it’s a great solution for setting up and managing a digital rewards system to promote user engagement.
wpForo is a widely used forum plugin for WordPress. With a robust feature set and also over 20,000 installs, it’s an elegant discussion platform that makes it easier to build community features on WordPress sites.
Both are free plugins with available premium add-ons for more features.
The Automator 2.5 release adds these actions to recipes:
As always, these actions can be initiated by any trigger (and combination of triggers) supported by Uncanny Automator. Here are a few integration ideas:
There are many other possibilities, but hopefully those give you some ideas!
Stay tuned for even more myCred support in the upcoming Pro release.
Uncanny Automator 2.5 adds support for this new trigger:
And these actions are now supported:
Triggering recipes with new topic posts (to a specific or any forum) is straightforward enough, but let’s explore the actions a bit more.
A user’s reputation normally shows how active users are across wpForo forums; it’s a simple measure of engaged forum participants. With the new Automator integration, you can override that based on other factors. Perhaps course completions should instead be a driver of a user’s reputation, or maybe it should be based on form submissions and values within a form. It could even be that a combination of purchases, site activity, number of logins, and even quiz scores that set the forum reputation.
Usergroups in wpForo control permissions and capabilities. Typical groups include admins, moderators, registered users, guests and customers. With the Automator integration, groups can be set automatically based on other conditions instead of by an admin. Perhaps an application form and successful subscription purchase add a user to a Moderator group, or maybe it’s only assigned after the user has been through a series of introductory courses to prepare them to be a Moderator.
Today’s release also includes some performance improvements that will could help larger sites using BuddyPress and there are a few miscellaneous fixes. It’s an interesting release that will get even more powerful when we get Pro 2.5 out, which our team is hard at work on now.
We hope you find today’s new features useful to your site!
