Automator 6.4 : Publicités Facebook, Bluesky et puissantes améliorations de l'apprentissage en ligne

It’s early April, and that means it’s time for another big Automator release! The Uncanny Automator 3.9 release packs in dozens of new features, a new integration, and many behind-the-scenes improvements (including faster recipe creation!). And while this is a big release, we decided to hold several completed features to the next release–so the 3.10 update in a few weeks will be huge.
Let’s jump in to what’s new in the free release of Uncanny Automator 3.9.
It’s here! We’ve had quite a few requests for support of this social networking and community plugin and we’re excited about the new use cases our integration will support. Our free plugin adds these new triggers for PeepSo:
And we have 1 new action:
There are lots of interesting automation options here. Maybe when a user follows another PeepSo member, they get an introductory email and a coupon code for that member’s product, or maybe when they submit a request for information form, they’re added as a follower to that particular user.
If that’s not enough, of course, the Automator Pro release next week will add even more triggers and actions!
This very powerful new addition is going to make a lot of customers very happy and slash our Zoom-related Help Desk tickets. With Automator 3.9, our Zoom Meeting and Webinar actions can automatically pull down any custom fields related to your events so that you can pass values to them. No longer are Zoom recipes limited to first name, last name and email address only!
This is what it looks like:
If you’ve used our Google Sheets integration, this new system works a lot like how we pull down a list of columns so you can map questions/fields in Zoom to your data in WordPress. It’s really easy to get everything set up and it makes our integration more flexible than most dedicated Zoom plugins out there.
Our form integrations all have a huge number of support tokens, yet we still consistently get requests for more. We heard you! In today’s release, we’re adding these new tokens to our form integrations:
For some of the more creative use cases we’ve seen, support for these tokens (especially entry ID) will be invaluable.
Caldera Forms Users: The Caldera Forms plugin was officially retired last week. While we did add support for these new tokens to our integration, our 3.9 releases will be the last time we add new features to this integration. We know we still have a few dozen Caldera users clinging to that plugin, but now that it has been removed from WordPress.org, we strongly suggest you migrate to another form plugin. At some point in the future we will retire our integration as well.
Users of our popular B2B Group Management plugin for LearnDash have often asked us for more flexible ways to add seats to LearnDash groups. It’s here! Automator 3.9 adds these new actions:
So whether it’s with purchases, form submissions, donations, or incoming webhook data, you can now increase and decrease your seat count based on any triggers supported in Automator.
It was time we added some missing topic tokens to our bbPress integration. Here’s what’s new in this version:
We had feedback about some use cases involving things like sharing forum posts in site activity feeds in social plugins, posting new topics to Facebook and more, so for those kinds of uses these new tokens will help a lot.
As we keep adding new integrations, and we now see many users with hundreds or thousands of recipes on a site, we need to be relentless in our pursuit of performance improvements. While core tenets of all of our releases are a focus on stability and efficiency, the Automator 3.9 releases makes several bigger changes in this area. More specifically, we’re changing how most drop-down lists load in the add/edit recipe page so that recipe creation is faster. If this page had been slowing down at all for you, this release should help a lot.
This one is also behind the scenes, but we have refactored most of our API integrations so that they’re more scalable and pave the way for future improvements… retries, anyone?
A few Uncanny Automator customers needed a way to control whether emails sent by Automator actions were in an HTML or plain text format. There’s now a new, optional switch to change the email format.
That’s it for new features in this release! Stay tuned for related Uncanny Automator Pro 3.9 announcements next week.
