Uncanny Automator 5.0: Brevo, Pretty Links & More
We’re excited to announce that Uncanny Automator 5.0 is now available!
Certainly our new support for Loops in Automator Pro is the biggest news in the 5.0 releases, but we made sure to pack our free version full of new features too–including several brand new integrations.

Pretty Links is a URL shortening plugin from the makers of MemberPress that makes it easy to shrink, beatify, track and manage URLs on WordPress sites. In this new integration, the free version of Uncanny Automator adds support for the following:
- Trigger: A user clicks a pretty link
- Trigger: A pretty link is clicked (for Everyone recipes)
- Action: Create a pretty link with a specific target URL
With the new triggers, you can do things like run recipes when a link is clicked (why not have it generate a user report in Airtable with the new Loops support?), track clicks in Google Sheets, tag users in a CRM based on link clicks, etc. And with the new action, maybe you have a recipe that, when a new post is published, it generates a Pretty Link that is then included in an outgoing email to all users with a certain meta value (Loops in action again!).
Brevo (a.k.a. Sendinblue)
Probably our most popular outstanding feature request, Brevo is a widely-used CRM and marketing automation platform. Today’s 5.0 release adds 4 new actions:
- Add a contact to a list
- Create or update a contact
- Delete a contact
- Remove a contact from a list
These new actions make it easy for recipes to trigger automations on the Brevo side, as well as set users to receive the right campaigns and keep their profiles updated based on WordPress activity. And with the new Loops support, of course, you can do cool things like remove everyone from a list in Brevo when a LearnDash group is changed to draft status—based on their membership in that group.
New triggers and tokens
Beyond what’s listed above, the Automator Core integration gains one new trigger: A user completes a recipe. Deceptively simple, it opens up some recipe chaining possibilities as well as some recipe troubleshooting options.
As Elementor can be a difficult integration to work with, there’s a new “A post is published with Elementor” trigger that is a safer option to use with Elementor than our generic post-is-published trigger.
The release also includes 8 new tokens for each of the User completes a recipe with/without errors triggers in Automator Core, 1 new Common token for “User locale” (i.e. the location of the user), and several new tokens for WooCommerce triggers that cover order time, order date and time, and Stripe fee (when the Stripe add-on for WooCommerce is used).
Other noteworthy additions
One surprisingly common request after the last major releases was for us to include support for webhook response values in the logs. So if you send outgoing webhook data to another system, and it sends back a response, you will now be able to see that response value in the logs. (It was already available as a token, but the log records will make troubleshooting a lot easier.)
WhatsApp gains improved support images. It also added a JSON string as a Message value for other reply formats, including Audio, Location, Contacts and more.
Gravity Forms triggers based on form submission add support for survey tokens. So if you perhaps use the Gravity Forms survey add-on to collect data based on a Likert scale response, tokens are now available for those question types.
There’s a lot that has changed behind the scenes too, some of it to support Loops in Pro, some of it to improve Uncanny Automator. There are new sanitization filters, improved PHP 8.2. support, attendee info token parsing for Amelia, and much more. Check the full changelog for complete details.
