Automator 6.2 中的新功能:WordPress 线程以及更多!

Uncanny Automator 6.2 is a crowd pleaser we’re excited to share with you.

The latest version of WordPress’ “everything plugin” adds new app and plugin integrations that will up your social media game, and make it that much easier to automate your forms. We also added tons of new functionality for Stripe users, along with a long list of triggers, actions, and updates that will make your automations that much more dynamic.

Let’s zoom in 6.2x closer on this awesome Automator release.

New Integration: Threads

Threads is Meta’s latest text-based social media platform. But, it probably doesn’t need much of an introduction. Since Meta released Threads in the summer of 2023, the platform has seen an increase in its active monthly users from 100 million to a staggering 275 million.

Needless to say, with numbers like that, WordPress site owners and developers have been clamoring for a Threads integration. And now, they have one.

With the 6.2 release, Automator has made it easier for you to promote your latest products, content, events, and more on one of the fastest growing social media platforms on the web.

New Integration: Duplicator

Duplicator is a popular backup and site migration plugin. And now, with the Automator 6.2 release, you can integrate your site management, data, and security more seamlessly into your workflows.

This new integration includes the following trigger for all Automator users:

  • 备份完成并具有特定状态

Those with Duplicator Pro will also have access to the action:

  • 启动备份

Notify site administrators about completed backups, or trigger backups whenever your site is updated with new content.

New Integration: Everest Forms

Automator’s 6.2 release introduces another powerful drag-and-drop form-building plugin to its list of integrations: Everest Forms.

The new integration comes with two triggers for Automator Basic users:

  • A form is submitted
  • A user submits a form

Automator Pro users will have access to two additional triggers, for more customized and dynamic automations:

  • A form is submitted with a specific value in a specific field
  • A user submits a form with a specific value in a specific field

New Integration: Thrive Theme Builder

The growing number of Thrive Theme Builder users will appreciate the introduction of another no-code feature: form integration. Automator’s 6.2 release will allow Thrive Theme Builder users to integrate their forms more seamlessly into their workflows.

New triggers for this new integration are:

  • A form is submitted
  • A user submits a form

New Automations for Stripe, SeedProd, and More

We are always working to improve and update existing integrations to match our users’ needs. The 6.2 release is no different.

We’ve added six new triggers for Stripe alone:

  • Stripe – A subscription is cancelled
  • Stripe – A subscription is created
  • Stripe – A subscription is paid
  • Stripe – A subscription payment fails
  • Stripe – One-time payment for a product is completed
  • Stripe – Payment for a product is refunded

You’ll now have more ways to automate your payment terminal and integrate it fully into your sales funnel. For example, if one of your customers has canceled or expired payment information when their subscription renewal comes up, you can fire off a quick “retry” email.

We’ve also added some triggers for SeedProd and LearnDash users:

  • SeedProd – Maintenance mode is set to a status
  • LearnDash – A user is added to a group that has access to a course (Pro)

As well as some handy actions for WordPress Core, Automator Core, and Woo:

  • WordPress Core – Log the user out
  • Automator Core – Cancel the scheduled actions of a recipe for a user (Pro)
  • Automator Core – Activate/deactivate a recipe (Pro)
  • Woo – Generate a coupon code (Pro)

What Else is New in 6.2?

Tokens! Tokens galore! You might want to call the 6.2 release the tokens update. We’ve added more tokens in more places so you can create even more dynamic recipes.

Two new tokens for LearnDash:

  • LearnDash – A user completes a course – Course points
  • LearnDash – A user completes a group’s courses – Course points

A new token selector for Automator Pro users in a Woo action:

  • WooCommerce – Generate and email a coupon code

This will allow you to dynamically select the product(s) to which you would like to apply a coupon code. Imagine if a user views a product multiple times but hasn’t purchased it. You can send them a personalized coupon code specifically for that product(s), for any product or user in your Woo store.

We’ve added a token selector to other multi-select fields along with some other updates for existing integrations and UI:

  • Core – Added token selector to multiselect fields in some actions
  • WordPress – Create a post – Added toggle: Title must be unique
  • FluentCRM – Add/Update a Contact – Default Status Issue
  • Improved recipe UI messaging when Automator Pro is not active
  • Stripe – Updated the available list of triggers/actions on the settings page
  • WPForms – Split “Address” token into separate tokens

More Updates for Automator Pro:

  • BuddyBoss – Subscribe the user to a forum – Added token support to Forum multi-select field
  • BuddyBoss – Unsubscribe the user from a forum – Converted Forum field to multiselect
  • LearnDash – Add a course to a group – Group field – Added token selector to multiselect field
  • LifterLMS – Enroll the user in a membership – Updated the action to pass “triggered by” value

That’s a wrap on Automator 6.2 You can always refer to the Automator changelog and the Automator Pro changelog for a quick reference.

We’re always excited to hear about how our users are enjoying our latest features and what they would most like to see in a (near) future release. So, make sure to drop us a line in the comments section below.

Until next time, happy automating!
