Here’s how to create this seamless integration.

Step 1: Create a New Recipe

From your WordPress Admin Dashboard, navigate to Automator > Add new recipe. In the modal that appears, select Logged-in users.

Step 2: Name Your Recipe

Give your recipe a name that makes it easy to recognize at a glance. For example, we have named this recipe, “When a user is created, add them to HubSpot”.

Step 3: Configure Your Trigger(s)

In the Trigger panel, from the menu of available integrations, select WordPress. From the dropdown list that appears, select A user is created.

If you are using the free version of Automator, you can select from any number of triggers. For example, you might choose LearnDash > A user completes a course or WPForms > A form is submitted (available as an “Everyone” recipe type trigger).

Step 4: Configure Your Action(s)

In the Actions panel, click Add action and select HubSpot from the available integrations.

If you haven’t already connected your HubSpot account to Automator, simply click Connect account in the modal that appears.

Follow the prompts as they appear to complete the connection. Once you have connected your HubSpot account, return to the recipe editor.

From the dropdown list that appears, select Add/Update the user in HubSpot.

Step 5: Go Live!

You’re just about ready to connect HubSpot to WordPress. All you have to do is toggle the recipe from Draft to Live.
