Keap, Ontraport, FluentBooking…and Token Loops!

We’re excited to introduce version 5.10 of Uncanny Automator and Uncanny Automator Pro, packed with a host of new integrations, triggers, actions, and tokens.  Plus a new advanced feature – Token Loops! Let’s explore what’s new!

FluentBooking

We’ve added a new integration for the rapidly growing FluentBooking appointment booking plugin with support for 6 new triggers:

  • A one-to-one meeting is scheduled
  • A one-to-one meeting is cancelled
  • A group meeting is scheduled
  • A meeting is cancelled
  • A one-to-one meeting is scheduled with a specific host (Pro)
  • A group meeting is scheduled with a specific host (Pro)

We’ve also included an action:

  • Add a meeting

This integration makes it possible to do some interesting things with FluentBooking, such as create meetings using alternative eCommerce or form plugins. You could even automatically add or remove people from courses, groups, memberships etc. when bookings are made or cancelled, making your workflows even more seamless for customers.

Keap

We already supported Keap via our Memberium integration, but now we’re introducing a direct integration with Keap for non-Memberium users including 5 actions:

  • Add/Update a contact
  • Add a tag to a contact
  • Remove a tag from a contact
  • Add/Update a company
  • Create a note

With this integration it’s possible to use Automator to update contacts and companies directly in Keap based on their activity on your WordPress site such as purchases, course completions, group membership and more, enabling better segmentation and more personalized marketing.

Ontraport

The new Ontraport integration enables a range of new actions to streamline contact management:

  • Add a tag to a contact
  • Create a tag
  • Create or update a contact
  • Delete a contact

These new actions give you the ability to update your Ontraport contacts based on their activity like purchases, form submissions, event registrations, course completions and more on your WordPress site, providing even more intelligence for your Ontraport marketing campaigns.

Logging

This is a new internal integration with just one action: Write data to the log. Uncanny Automator already provides some of the best and most detailed logging of any automation tool, but this new action provides another tool for building complex automations, allowing you log key events or token values during recipe execution.

For example, you can simply log any desired tokens, or the results of calculations or formatting to ensure you’re getting the value you want.

New Date and Time Tokens

This release introduces new tokens for the current day, week, and month, both in numeric and text formats. These can be used to create conditions to check if a recipe is being triggered in a specific month or on a specific day, with different results.  For example, you could run a promotion if users order on a specific day of the month, or a specific month of the year:

New Pro Feature: Token Loop

This new loop type allows you to iterate over special loopable tokens to run actions on items in the token. This might include lists of courses, groups, products, categories, etc. So, for example, whenever someone places an order containing multiple products, you could loop over the products in the order, sending them to a Google Sheet for detailed reporting.  Or, when someone purchases a product, check to see if they previously purchased a complementary product and if so, send them a promotional coupon code.

Let’s say you want to offer users a coupon for 20% off their next purchase when they purchase both Marketing 101 and Sales 101 courses on your site.  You could do that with a pair of recipes like this:

Here are the loopable tokens included in 5.10:

  • WooCommerce Subscriptions: Users’ active subscriptions
  • WordPress Multisite: Network admins and Network sites
  • BuddyBoss/BuddyPress: Users’ groups.
  • LearnDash: Users’ completed courses, enrolled courses, and groups.
  • WooCommerce: Order items, product categories, and tags. Orders in the past 24 hours, 30 days, and 365 days.
  • WordPress: Post categories and tags.

Other Updates

We’ve also rolled out some key updates to improve the general user experience for Uncanny Automator:

  • OpenAI: Now supports the GPT-4o mini model. Now you can use this fast and efficient model in your recipes.
  • Emails: Test emails now automatically populate the email field with the signed-in user’s email address.
  • Import Recipe: Improved compatibility by replacing hardcoded URLs.

And Uncanny Automator Pro:

  • Actions Conditions: Conditions are now evaluated once per filter block
  • Incoming Webhooks: Improved compatibility with older MariaDB versions
  • Loops: Addressed issues with intermittent in-progress states
