How to Connect Perplexity to your WordPress site
Our Perplexity integration offers the ability to generate intelligent, human-readable content and use this content automatically in your WordPress workflows.
Automatically generate content using Perplexity’s Sonar model to create new blog posts, Facebook posts, X posts, and much more. Connect the input to a form and the Dynamic Content Addon and you have a powerful way to let site visitors prompt your AI model without leaving the front end of your site.
If you have the free version of Uncanny Automator, you’ll first need to connect your site with a free Uncanny Automator account, which will give you 250 free credits to use with Perplexity. If you have Uncanny Automator Pro, simply activate your Pro license key to get unlimited usage of the Perplexity integration.
You’ll need an API key from your Perplexity account to connect your WordPress site.
Please note that you will need a Perplexity Pro or Max subscription to generate Perplexity API keys. Perplexity Pro subscriptions include $5 of monthly credits for API usage.

Once you have signed in to your Perplexity Pro account, from your Dashboard, click Account > API.
If you haven’t already, Perplexity will prompt you to create an API Group.
Once you have created your new API Group, you will need to add a payment method if you haven’t already. (Note: You will not immediately be charged. Perplexity Pro users receive $5 of credits for API usage every month.)
Once you have added your payment method, you can create a new API key. From within your new API Group, navigate to API keys and click Create key.
Once Perplexity has created your API key, click the three dots next to it and click Copy.
Return to your WordPress Admin Dashboard and navigate to Automator > App integrations > Perplexity.
Paste the API key from Perplexity into the Perplexity API key field and click Connect Perplexity account.
That’s it! You’ll now be able to add Perplexity actions to your recipes and generate action tokens with Perplexity’s response.
