Stripe

The Stripe integration in Uncanny Automator lets you trigger actions on your WordPress site and in other apps when activity happens in your Stripe account.

To use this integration, follow these steps:

  1. Install the Uncanny Automator plugin on your WordPress site.
  2. Connect Uncanny Automator with a free account or Pro license.  To use apps like Stripe you’ll need app credits.  You get 250 app credits with a free Uncanny Automator account, or unlimited app credits with any Uncanny Automator Pro license.
  3. Navigate to Automator > App Integrations > Stripe.
  4. Click Connect Stripe. You’ll be guided through the steps necessary to connect Uncanny Automator to your Stripe account.

Once your Stripe account is connected, you’ll be able to create recipes that are triggered when specific events occur in your Stripe account:

  • A customer is created
  • A payment is completed
  • A charge is refunded
  • A payment fails
  • A subscription is cancelled

You will also be able to automate actions in your Stripe account, including:

  • Create a customer
  • Delete a customer
  • Create a payment link

This will let you create recipes like:

  • When a payment is completed in Stripe, add a tag to a user in your CRM.
  • When a subscription is cancelled in Stripe, unenroll a user from a course or remove them from a membership level.
  • When a user registers on your site or submits a form, create a customer and create a payment link.
  • When a payment fails, send a notification in Slack or add a row to a Google Sheet or Airtable.
  • When a customer is created in Stripe, create a corresponding user in WordPress and send the user an email.

So that’s it!  Create the recipes you need to automate your WordPress and Stripe processes and sit back and relax as your recipes run.
